Pressure is growing to build on London's green spaces....one great way to protect our them is to give them official status as a public park.  So we've identified threated sites, like the historic Lea Bridge waterworks in Waltham Forest, and we will be campaigning to turn them into parks and nature reserves.

Our recent polling shows that millenials and Londoners are most likely to vote with the countryside and green spaces in mind.   As the General Election approaches politicians of all parties would do well to heed these findings.

Three in four Londoners say that protecting green spaces, including the Green Belt, is important to them - more than in any other region.  

Following the publication of the Inspectors Report on the draft London Plan we have written formally to the Mayor of London asking him to stand firm on his commitment to protect the Green Belt and Metropolitan Open Land. 

The latest issue of our Green London eBulletin contains news of the Inspectors' Report on the draft London Plan along with other essential planning and environmental news from across the capital.    

We have written to the Mayor of London urging him to reject recommendations by the Panel of Inspectors which would seriously weaken protection of London's precious Green Belt and Metropolitan Open Land.

We are seeking a Communications and Promotions Officer for our exciting GoParksLondon project. You will be part of a major new project promoting London's parks and the friends groups who are so important to making them great places to be.
